Aptiv PLC in Braga, Portugal, is seeking a Test Manufacturing Engineer to optimize PCB-level In-Circuit Test and flash programming on production lines. You will develop hardware and software solutions and work closely with manufacturing and product teams to improve yield and throughput.
The role requires a degree in Electrical Engineering, knowledge of JTAG Boundary Scan and test programming, and fluent English. Production floor support and cybersecurity provisioning experience are a plus.

In this position, you would be a key member of the core Test Manufacturing Engineering Team, with responsibility for installing and maintain production electrical test and product programming solutions for the production product lines. This role is focused on PCB-level In-Circuit Test and Flash Programming applications.
Develop advanced In-Circuit Test and product flash programming hardware and software solutions in support of Manufacturing Engineering Product-Oriented development departments
Research test equipment and flash programming system suppliers and fixture suppliers, support benchmarking studies, providing equipment costing information
Collaborate with Product Development teams on design-for-test initiatives and production Cybersecurity provisioning solutions
Work out proper documentation of the assigned test process, respect the APTIV processes and procedures accordingly
Leverage problem solving (6-Sigma, MSA, Cpk) for Test Statistical Analysis Methods to drive continuous improvement on the test systems deployed on production (hardware and software)
Bachelor/Master degree in Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology, or similar
Knowledge of test and flash programming technologies, including JTAG Boundary Scan
Business fluent English
Preferred: Experience and/or certification in product Cybersecurity technologies and methodologies
Preferred: Experience with In-circuit PCB-level test or PCB-level flash programming application systems, and NI TestStand test executive software, including direct production floor support
