QiBit Portugal is seeking a Cybersecurity Coordinator to lead the client’s security strategy in the football sector. You will drive ISO 27001 initiatives, manage the 12-month roadmap, and coordinate external security partners to protect critical systems.

Fluency in Portuguese and strong English, plus at least 8 years in cybersecurity with leadership experience, are required. The role offers a competitive salary with meal allowance and health insurance in Lisbon.

Qualificações

• A degree in Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Systems or similar fields.
• At least 8 years in cybersecurity, including 3+ years in coordinating or leadership roles.
• Proven experience implementing or maintaining ISO 27001 information security management systems.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor, CEH or equivalent preferred.
• Solid knowledge of risk management, IT governance, network architecture and application security.
• Experience managing security service providers (SOC, SIEM, pentesting).
• Ability to communicate technical risks to non-technical audiences clearly and objectively.
• Fluency in Portuguese and good knowledge of English.

Responsabilidades

• Define and lead the cybersecurity strategy aligned with organisational objectives and the digital transformation plan.
• Ensure the continuity and development of the ISO 27001 certification process, including internal audits, risk analysis and risk treatment plans.
• Manage the cybersecurity roadmap (12 months), setting priorities, milestones and the budget.
• Coordinate external suppliers and partners in the security field (SOC, penetration testing, compliance consultancy).
• Oversee information security policies, access control to systems and technological infrastructure, incident management, business continuity and disaster recovery.
• Monitor the threat landscape and ensure that the organisation’s defences are up to date and tested.
• Report regularly to the Technology Department and the Executive Board on the state of maturity, risks and mitigation plans.
• Promote a culture of security within the organisation through training, awareness-raising and internal communication.
• Ensure compliance with the GDPR and other applicable regulations regarding data protection and security.

What is required from you?

• At least 8 years’ experience in cybersecurity, including at least 3 years in a coordinating or leadership role.

• Relevant certifications are highly valued: CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor, CEH or equivalent.
• Solid knowledge of risk management, IT governance, network architecture and application security.
• Experience in managing security service providers (SOC, SIEM, pentesting).
• Ability to communicate technical risks to non-technical audiences clearly and objectively.
• Strategic profile with business acumen, capable of prioritising investments and justifying budgets.
• Fluency in Portuguese and a good knowledge of English.

In accordance with Directive (EU) 2023/970, the starting basic salary for this role is €52,000 gross per year. In addition, there is a meal allowance, health insurance and other benefits.
