Job summary

Jobgether seeks a Chief Operating Officer to build and lead the operational backbone of a new international crypto‑fiat digital banking venture based in Portugal. You will supervise operating model design, onboarding, payment processing, partnerships, and risk management, reporting to the CEO and working with senior leadership to launch and scale globally.

Qualifications

• Senior-level leadership experience in operations within crypto banking or crypto-enabled neobanking.
• Proven track record scaling financial operations in startups or rapid growth fintechs.
• Strong understanding of payment operations, settlement, and onboarding.
• Experience with banking partners, payment providers, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Design, establish, and implement the operating model for a crypto‑fiat banking venture.
• Oversee daily operations: onboarding, payments, settlements, and service delivery.
• Develop robust procedures for reconciliation, risk controls, and reporting.
• Coordinate with compliance to implement KYC/AML and regulatory controls.
• Build relationships with banks, issuers, and payment partners.
• Establish KPIs, SLAs, budgets, and performance management frameworks.
