Job summary

Biocol Labs in Lisbon is seeking a seasoned CFO/COO to lead Finance, Operations, Supply Chain and Compliance. You will drive predictable revenue growth and scale a fast-moving, international organization while uphold financial and operational excellence.

The role requires strategic vision, strong execution, and a track record in scaling startups. You will mentor teams, partner with the CEO and investors, and navigate cross-border regulatory environments in a hybrid Lisbon-based setting.

Qualifications

• Senior experience in Operations, Finance, or COO/CFO roles.
• Proven track record scaling high-growth startups or international orgs.
• Strong background in Finance, Controlling, Supply Chain, Compliance, and Risk Management.
• Experience building and leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Analytical and data-driven mindset.
• Experience in consumer goods, health, or wellness is a plus.
• Excellent communication and leadership, fluent in English (Portuguese is a plus).

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute operational and financial strategies to achieve predictable €10M monthly revenue.
• Lead and oversee Finance, Controlling, Supply Chain, and Compliance with alignment to business objectives.
• Manage cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting for executive decisions.
• Optimize operational efficiency with scalable processes and automation.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate financial and operational risks with international standards compliance.
• Build and mentor high-performing teams and foster a culture of ownership and improvement.
• Collaborate with the CEO and leadership on strategic priorities and growth initiatives.
• Partner with investors, auditors, and financial institutions for transparent reporting.
• Oversee logistics, supply chain planning, and procurement for timely delivery and cost efficiency.
