Data Centre Solutions Provider is seeking an experienced Mechanical Construction Manager for piping packages on a data centre project. The freelance role spans 18-24 months starting in September, with initial focus on RAMS, constructability, and site readiness in the Lisbon region.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years in construction, 5+ years in construction management, and strong experience in mechanical/piping and process industries.

• Process industry experience - chemical, pharma, power, petrochemical.
• Onsite work experience for contractor or sub-contractor.
• Happy to be based in Portugal.

I am currently recruiting for a construction manager for piping packages for a data centre construction project.

I am currently supporting a client looking for an experienced Mechanical Construction Manager for piping packages for an 18-24 month freelance contract starting in September.

My client works across projects in the Pharmaceutical, Oil and Gas, Semi-Conductor and Data Centre Market. My client are especially interested to interview project managers with experience handling mechanical packages, including piping scopes. They are also particularly interested in speaking with people with mechanical contractor experience.

The project is currently in civil works and the mechanical works are not expected to start immediately following your start in September. The main duties to begin with will be generating RAMS (Risk assessment and method statements, construability studies, site preparation/walk arounds, reporting with the project manager and director to ensure plans are in place to get boots on the ground.
