g2 Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Mechanical Construction Manager (piping packages) for a data centre project in Lisbon. This freelance role spans 18–24 months with a September start, focusing on RAMS, constructability studies and site mobilisation.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in construction, strong piping/mechanical background, and experience managing mechanical packages for large-scale projects in process industries. Onsite availability in Portugal is required.

Qualificações

• RAMS generation (Risk assessment and method statements) and constructability studies.
• Site preparation and site walks; reporting to project manager and director to ensure plans are in place to mobilise.
• Experience with mechanical packages in data centre, pharma, oil&gas, petrochemical sectors preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead RAMS and method statements for piping packages.
• Coordinate site preparations and progress reporting with PM and director.
• Ensure boots-on-ground readiness and compliance for September start.

I am currently recruiting for a construction manager for piping packages for a data centre construction project.

I am currently supporting a client looking for an experienced Mechanical Construction Manager for piping packages for an 18-24 month freelance contract starting in September.

My client works across projects in the Pharmaceutical, Oil and Gas, Semi-Conductor and Data Centre Market. My client are especially interested to interview project managers with experience handling mechanical packages, including piping scopes. They are also particularly interested in speaking with people with mechanical contractor experience.

The project is currently in civil works and the mechanical works are not expected to start immediately following your start in September. The main duties to begin with will be generating RAMS (Risk assessment and method statements, construability studies, site preparation/walk arounds, reporting with the project manager and director to ensure plans are in place to get boots on the ground.
