A leading data centre delivery company is seeking a Mechanical Supervisor in Lisbon, Portugal. The right candidate will have at least 5 years of supervisory experience and strong knowledge of mechanical systems in a data centre environment. Responsibilities include planning project works, supervising subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects across Europe, in a mid-senior level role. EU passport holders only.

Qualificações

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a mechanical supervisor capacity.

Responsabilidades

PE Global is delighted to have partnered with a leading data centre delivery partner to recruit a Mechanical Supervisor to join the team. This role will be based in Portugal, working on a rotation.

*Please note – this role is only open to EU passport holders.

Mechanical Supervisor

This organisation is a dedicated data centre delivery partner providing turnkey solutions to their clients, headquartered in Dublin and delivering throughout Europe.

They specialise in providing turnkey data centre solutions, providing services from design, through to construction across the full range of civil, structural, architectural, mechanical and electrical services as well as commissioning.

This organisation has grown to become the leading and most trusted company in the sector and is the only dedicated Data Centre delivery partner in Europe.

They are currently constructing multiple turnkey data centre projects in 7 different European countries, equating to over 430 MW of IT load in flight.

They are pleased to announce that they are currently seeking a Mechanical Supervisor to join the team.

Responsibilities

• Have a good understanding of Design specs, drawings, programme sequence and quality requirements to plan the scope of project works.
• Attend internal weekly planning and reporting meetings and provide updates on your package along with issues, risks and mitigation opportunities.
• Develop a detailed schedule for you package in coordination with the project controls team.
• Develop BIM drawings along with our in-house BIM Team and ensure all Vendors equipment is fully coordinated with the construction requirements.
• Support Engineering through managing & liaising with Key Project Stakeholders.
• Identify key work interfaces at engineering stage. Ensure they are defined and coordinated well for clean transition and workflow at site.
• Hands on supervision of sub-contractor works.
• Ensure the labour requirements are met and maintained as per project program requirements.
• Sign off of RAMS prior to site installation works commencing.
• Sign off of SPA for the subcontractor at the work face each morning prior to works commencing for the day.
• Follow Environmental, Health and Safety standards and ensure quality standards are met.
• Liaise with stakeholders and client to resolve issues as they arise on a day-to-day basis.
• Ensure Works are installed in accordance with Project drawings, specifications, safety and quality requirements.
• Schedule material deliveries to correspond with the project schedule.
• Equipment delivery and installation inspections
• Ensure that inspections are planned and carried out in an efficient manner in line with the clients quality processes. Lead these processes to ensure that issues/snags are highlighted at an early stage and closed quickly leading to clean client inspections.
• Reporting daily & weekly (daily diary, weekly updates & lookaheads, etc.)

Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in mechanical supervisor capacity.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain good customer relationships with other contractors whilst working on sites.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems pertaining to data centre environment.
