Job summary

Want More in Braga is seeking a dedicated Concierge Assistant to deliver guest-focused service at our luxury hotel. You will greet guests, assist with luggage, provide local information and arrange dining, entertainment and transportation reservations.

The role requires English fluency, strong communication, a friendly demeanor and the ability to stay calm under pressure. You will support the Concierge, handle guest requests, track follow-ups and contribute to an overall exceptional stay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or tourism degree is a plus.
• Fluent in English (verbal and written).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a warm and friendly atmosphere
• Assist guests with luggage and escort them to their rooms
• Provide information about hotel facilities, services and local attractions
• Arrange reservations for dining, entertainment, transportation and other activities as requested by guests
• Respond to guest inquiries and provide recommendations for activities or services based on their preferences
• Prepare welcome amenities for VIP guests
• Maintain accurate records of all guest requests and follow up accordingly
• Handle any complaints or issues with professionalism and escal ate to the Concierge when necessary
• Monitor guest satisfaction through feedback forms and make suggestions for improvement
