Qualifications

• Previous concierge or guest services experience required.

As a Concierge, you will be the face of our hotel in Funchal, providing exceptional customer service to our guests. Your main responsibility will be to assist and guide guests, ensuring their stay is comfortable and memorable. You will also be responsible for handling guest inquiries and requests, making reservations, arranging transportation, and providing recommendations for local attractions and activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor
• Assist with check-in/check-out processes
• Handle guest inquiries and provide accurate information about the hotel and surrounding area
• Make reservations for dining, tours, transportation, and other services requested by guests
• Provide recommendations for local attractions and activities based on guest preferences
• Coordinate with other hotel departments to fulfil guest requests
• Maintain a high level of knowledge about the hotel's facilities and services
• Handle any complaints or issues promptly and professionally
• Keep track of guest feedback to ensure maximum satisfaction

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a concierge or in a similar customer service role
• Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)
• Knowledge of the local area and attractions
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Customer-oriented with a positive attitude
• Flexibility to work different shifts including weekends and holidays
