Canaan Hub in Montijo is seeking a dynamic Junior-Mid Community Manager to be the face of the brand, creating engaging stories, reels and trends.

You will own the monthly content calendar, coordinate on-site activations, collaborate with travel influencers, manage daily engagement across Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and Google reviews, and report performance to leadership.

Fluency in English and Portuguese is required; experience in hospitality is a plus.

Qualificações

• 3 years of experience in Community Management, Content Creation, or Social Media Marketing.
• Fluency in English and Portuguese mandatory.
• Strong mobile video capture and editing skills (CapCut, InShot or similar).
• Ability to own and execute a monthly content calendar with minimal guidance.

Community Manager

We are looking for a high-energy, social-media savvy Junior-Mid Level Community Manager to become the face, voice, and vibe-maker of Canaan Hub. You will serve as the essential bridge between our brand strategy and daily on-site action. This role requires a unique balance: you will receive strategic guidance and alignment from leadership, but you must possess the day-to-day autonomy to make things happen. You need to be incredibly comfortable both in front of and behind the smartphone camera, treating the hotel's common spaces as your creative playground to generate engaging stories, reels, and trends.

Key Responsibilities

• Dynamic Video Production & Social Media: Script, shoot, and edit highly engaging shortform video content (Instagram Reels, TikToks) highlighting daily life, guest interactions, local events, and the unique spots of the hub.
• Guided Autonomy Over Content: Take full ownership of executing the monthly content calendar based on general strategic goals provided by management. You bring the fresh ideas and the execution; we provide the direction.
• Community Vibe & On-Site Activations: Help plan, promote, and host social activations that bring people together (e.g., dynamic social hours, welcome meetups, game nights, local experiences). You should be natural at converting physical hostel/hotel energy into digital hype.
• Influencer & Creator Collaborations: Identify, pitch, and host relevant travel influencers, digital nomads, and content creators. You will ensure they generate high-quality content that aligns with our brand.
• Digital Engagement & Voice: Manage daily interactions across our social channels (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Google Review). Respond to comments and DMs with an authentic, friendly, laid-back yet respectful tone.
• Performance Syncs: Keep your manager updated on channel growth, engagement stats, and guest feedback, proposing creative tweaks to boost our brand presence from the ground up.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in Community Management, Content Creation, or Social Media Marketing. Direct experience in hospitality is a massive plus.
• Highly proficient in fast-paced mobile video capture and mobile editing suites (CapCut, InShot, or similar). You live and breathe social media formats, trending audios, and viral styles.
• You thrive when given a goal and left to create, but you also value collaboration, alignment, and regular reporting to your leadership.
• Capable of using Canva or Figma templates to quickly customize visuals while respecting the official corporate brandbook and palette.
• Fluency in English and Portuguese is absolutely mandatory. You will navigate fluidly between welcoming a digital nomad from across the world and closing a partnership with a local Montijo business.
