Moderator for Online Community (Lisbon, Portugal)

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Moderator to join our growing online community in Lisbon, Portugal. As a Moderator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our online platform remains a safe and enjoyable space for our users to connect, share ideas and engage in discussions.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor user-generated content on the platform, including comments and posts, to ensure it meets our community guidelines.


• Respond to user inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.


• Identify and address any potential issues or conflicts within the community.


• Engage with the community through actively participating in discussions and encouraging positive interactions.


• Work closely with the community management team to develop strategies for increasing engagement and improving user experience.


• Analyze data and metrics to track community growth and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing or related field.


• Previous experience moderating online communities is preferred but not required.


• Excellent written communication skills in English (Portuguese is a plus). 


• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to handle difficult situations efficiently.


• Knowledge of social media platforms and online forums.


• Passion for building communities and connecting people.
