Job summary

Convatec is seeking a Collections Specialist to help maintain customer experience while contributing to the cash flow target. You will contact external customers, reduce days sales outstanding, and manage delinquent accounts per policy.

The role requires experience in collections, SAP knowledge, and strong Excel skills. Hybrid work is available with 1 day in the office weekly, and English/Italian language skills are valued.

Qualifications

• University degree or higher is preferred in finance or related fields.
• Finance qualification is advantageous for role responsibilities.
• Experience in collections processes and SAP transactions is expected.

Responsibilities

• Contact external customers and follow up aged receivables via calls and email.
• Reduce payment cycle and ensure payment terms are respected.
• Issue reminders per Convatec policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with Collections Team Lead to manage accounts per SLAs.
• Respond to customer payment queries and verify receipts.
• Investigate shortpayments or overpayments and document outcomes.
• Notify Team Lead of cash flow issues or unresponsive customers.
• Identify refunds and write-off requests for processing.
• Negotiate payment arrangements for delinquent accounts.
• Prepare trackers and assist with starting legal procedures as needed.
• Record outcomes in collections tool for audit trails.
