Quanteam, the founding entity of Rainbow Partners, is a consulting firm specialized in Banking and Financial Services, headquartered with operations in Lisbon and a hybrid work model. We are looking for a Collateral Management Officer to manage daily margin calls, monitor exposures, and reconcile portfolios.

The role requires at least 4 years in collateral management, strong knowledge of margining, markets, and risk, and fluency in English. Occasional travel and training abroad are expected.

Qualificações

• Minimum 4 years of collateral management experience in banking/FS.
• Strong knowledge of collateral processes, margining, and counterparty risk.
• Solid understanding of financial markets, derivatives, and securities financing.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in English (French a plus).

Responsabilidades

• Calculate and manage daily margin calls and settlements.
• Monitor counterparty exposures across collateral portfolios.
• Reconcile portfolios with counterparties and investigate discrepancies.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Middle Office, Risk and Settlement teams.
• Monitor and clear cash suspense accounts.
• Respond to counterparty and internal stakeholder requests.
• Ensure timely processing and reporting of collateral movements.
• Contribute to improvements of collateral management processes.
• Support training and occasional travel as needed.

We are looking for a Collateral Management Officer

MAIN TASKS

• Calculate and manage daily margin calls, including notifications and collateral settlements.
• Monitor and control counterparty exposures across securities and cash collateral portfolios.
• Reconcile portfolios with counterparties and investigate valuation or position discrepancies.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Middle Office, Risk and Settlement teams to resolve breaks and operational issues.
• Monitor and clear cash suspense accounts within the defined scope.
• Respond to requests from counterparties and internal stakeholders regarding collateral and market activities.
• Ensure timely processing and follow-up of collateral movements and related reporting.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of collateral management processes and controls.
• Degree in Finance, Financial Markets, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Collateral Management within the banking or financial services sector.
• Strong knowledge of collateral management processes, margining and counterparty risk management.
• Good understanding of financial markets and products, including derivatives and securities financing activities.
• Solid knowledge of the Front-to-Back operational processing chain.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and reconciliation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and AI-powered productivity tools.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in English (and French is a plus).
• Availability for an initial training period abroad and occasional business travel.
• Hybrid work model based in Lisbon.

• This role offers a gross annual salary between 25.000€ and 60.500€ , defined according to the candidate's experience and competencies.
