Job summary

InnoTech in Portugal is seeking a Cloud Solution Architect to design scalable, secure cloud architectures and Kubernetes platforms. You will shape automation, deployment strategies, and governance across multi-cloud environments, driving reliable software delivery.

Role requires hands-on Terraform/OpenTofu, Ansible, CI/CD/GitOps, and strong Linux/Python skills. EU work permit is required to enable employment. Join a team focused on continuous learning and growth.

Qualifications

• Experience designing cloud architectures and Kubernetes platforms.
• Experience with Terraform/OpenTofu and Ansible.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and GitOps tooling (GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Argo CD, Flux).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry) and Docker in cloud environments.
• EU work permit or CPLP nationality required.

Your Mission Will Be

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient Cloud architectures and Kubernetes-based platforms;


• Shape infrastructure automation and deployment strategies using Infrastructure as Code and configuration management;


• Define and improve CI/CD and GitOps approaches to support reliable software delivery;


• Establish strong foundations around networking, identity, access management, security, and platform governance;


• Promote observability, reliability, and continuous improvement across Cloud-native environments.

You Will Need

• Proven experience designing and delivering Cloud architectures and Kubernetes platforms, with a strong understanding of networking, storage, security, and RBAC;


• Hands-on expertise with Terraform/OpenTofu and Ansible, alongside solid Linux, Bash, and Python skills;


• Practical experience with CI/CD and GitOps technologies such as GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Argo CD, or Flux;


• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry, as well as Docker and Cloud environments including STACKIT, AWS, Azure, OCI, or OpenStack;


• CPLP nationality or an EU work permit is required to facilitate employment.

Would Be Awesome If You Have

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields;


• Advanced English proficiency, with Spanish language skills considered a plus;


• Experience working across different Cloud providers or complex multi-Cloud environments;


• A strong interest in Cloud-native architecture, automation, platform engineering, and emerging technologies;


• A collaborative, analytical, and proactive approach, with a genuine drive for continuous learning.
