Job summary

HumanIT Digital Consulting is seeking a Project Manager (Software Engineering) in Lisbon. You will lead software engineering teams delivering enterprise-scale, cloud-native solutions, balancing people leadership, technical direction and program delivery.

This is a 12-month project starting in November 2026. The role is hybrid with 3 on-site days per week in Lisbon and regular working hours, with client interview as part of the process.

Qualifications

• Experience leading software engineering teams in cloud-native environments.
• Deep knowledge of software architecture, system design, APIs, and microservices.
• Strong data engineering and analytics platform knowledge.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps, observability and secure development practices.
• Track record of delivering enterprise-scale software projects.
• Ability to balance people leadership, technical leadership, and delivery.
• Proven coaching and mentoring skills to develop future leaders.
• Strong collaboration across tech and business partners.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
