Fyld is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to design, implement and operate secure cloud environments in Porto. You will work across AWS/Azure/GCP, using IaC tools to build scalable infrastructure and automate operations.

The role requires strong collaboration with DevOps, security and software teams to deliver reliable cloud solutions. Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with Terraform/OpenTofu/Bicep, Docker, Kubernetes, and a solid grounding in networking and IAM practices.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
• Proven Cloud Engineer experience in AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Hands-on with IaC tools (Terraform/OpenTofu/Bicep/CFN).
• Experience building scalable, secure cloud infrastructure.
• Knowledge of VPC/VNet, DNS, load balancing, IAM/RBAC.
• Familiar with Docker, Kubernetes and cloud monitoring.

We re looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer with strong technical skills and a passion for designing, implementing and managing cloud environments.

Your Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field
• Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer, Cloud Infrastructure Engineer or similar role
• Hands‑on experience with at least one major public cloud platform: AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Good understanding of core cloud services, including compute, storage, networking, databases and identity management
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, OpenTofu, Bicep, CloudFormation or equivalent
• Experience designing and managing scalable and highly available cloud infrastructure
• Knowledge of cloud networking , including VPC/VNet, DNS, load balancing, routing and security groups
• Experience with cloud security , including IAM/RBAC, secrets management, encryption and security best practices
• Experience with containers , particularly Docker, and familiarity with Kubernetes
• Knowledge of cloud monitoring , logging and alerting solutions
• Ability to automate infrastructure and operational tasks using Python, Bash, PowerShell or similar scripting languages
• Experience working with Git and version control
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to collaborate with software engineering, DevOps, security and infrastructure teams
• Fluency in English

Nice to have:

• Experience with more than one public cloud platform
• Experience with Kubernetes, Helm or managed Kubernetes services such as AKS, EKS or GKE
• Knowledge of cloud-native architectures and microservices
• Experience with cloud cost optimisation and FinOps practices
• Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices
• Relevant cloud certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Administrator/Azure Solutions Architect or Google Cloud certifications
