Fyld is hiring a Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and operate secure, scalable cloud solutions in a collaborative team. You’ll work across infrastructure, DevOps, security, and software teams to deliver reliable cloud services.

The role requires hands-on experience with major public clouds, IaC tooling, containers, and strong scripting abilities. Fluency in English is essential for collaboration and customer engagements.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role.
• Hands-on with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong knowledge of core cloud services: compute, storage, networking, databases and identity management.
• Experience IaC using Terraform, OpenTofu, Bicep, CloudFormation or equivalents.
• Experience designing scalable and highly available cloud infrastructure.
• Knowledge of cloud networking: VPC/VNet, DNS, load balancing, routing and security groups.
• Experience with cloud security: IAM/RBAC, secrets management, encryption and best practices.
• Experience with containers (Docker) and Kubernetes familiarity.
• Knowledge of cloud monitoring, logging and alerting.
• Ability to automate infra and ops tasks using Python, Bash, PowerShell or similar.
• Experience with Git and version control.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate with software engineering, DevOps, security and infra teams.
• Fluency in English.

Your Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field
• Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer, Cloud Infrastructure Engineer or similar role
• Hands‑on experience with at least one major public cloud platform: AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Good understanding of core cloud services, including compute, storage, networking, databases and identity management
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, OpenTofu, Bicep, CloudFormation or equivalent
• Experience designing and managing scalable and highly available cloud infrastructure
• Knowledge of cloud networking, including VPC/VNet, DNS, load balancing, routing and security groups
• Experience with cloud security, including IAM/RBAC, secrets management, encryption and security best practices
• Experience with containers, particularly Docker, and familiarity with Kubernetes

• Experience with cloud cost optimisation and FinOps practices
• Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices
• Relevant cloud certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Administrator/Azure Solutions Architect or Google Cloud certifications
