Job summary

Expleo is seeking an experienced Windows Server and infrastructure administrator to join our Lisbon-area team. You will manage Windows Server environments on VMware and Azure, ensure platform stability, and uphold security and access controls in hybrid AD/Entra ID setups.

The role involves incident handling, change management, and automation via PowerShell, Terraform, and ADO pipelines. Strong communication and documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Windows Server and infrastructure admin.
• Hands-on VMware and Azure infrastructure experience.
• Experience with Active Directory and Entra ID, including hybrid environments.
• Good understanding of DNS and core infrastructure services.
• Experience with ITSM processes, including incident, service request, change management, and CAB.
• Experience working with Azure DevOps (ADO).
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• 5+ years of experience in Windows Server and infrastructure administration, preferably in enterprise environments.


• Administer and support Windows Server environments on VMware and Azure, including build, patching, configuration, monitoring, and health management.


• Perform daily production checks, monitoring, and alert reviews to ensure platform stability and availability.


• Manage and support hybrid Active Directory and Entra ID environments, including identity lifecycle, synchronization, access management, and security best practices.


• Ensure security and least-privilege standards are consistently applied across infrastructure environments.


• Manage and resolve incidents and service requests through ITSM and Azure DevOps, including root cause analysis and resolution ownership.


• Implement infrastructure and configuration changes following established change management and CAB processes.


• Automate repetitive tasks and infrastructure provisioning using tools such as PowerShell, Terraform, and Azure DevOps pipelines.


• Maintain accurate technical documentation, procedures, and runbooks.


• Support infrastructure troubleshooting and provide effective technical communication to relevant stakeholders.

Essential skills

• Strong experience in Windows Server administration.


• Hands-on experience with VMware and Microsoft Azure infrastructure.
