Job summary

Connect Digital is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer (Azure, M365 & Windows Server) to join our client's Infrastructure team in a hybrid cloud environment. You will administer Entra ID, hybrid AD, M365 services, and Windows Server estates on VMware and Azure, while delivering BAU support and automation.

Ideal candidates will have AZ-104, MS-102, AZ-400 or equivalent certifications, strong troubleshooting and communication skills, and hands-on experience with Terraform and Azure DevOps

• Microsoft 365 administration services including Exchange.
• DNS and general infrastructure services.

Responsibilities

• Administer Windows Server estates on VMware and Azure.
• Perform start-of-day checks, monitoring and alert review.
• Administer Entra ID and hybrid Active Directory, including sync and identity lifecycle.
• Apply security and least-privilege standards across cloud and on-prem environments.
• Support Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange.
• Support infrastructure for Dynamics, DNS, and general platform services.
• Provide occasional support for a small GCP footprint.
• Handle incidents and service requests via ITSM and ADO, including RCA.
• Raise and implement changes through CAB.
• Automate repetitive tasks and provisioning (PowerShell, Terraform, ADO pipelines).
• Maintain documentation and runbooks in Confluence.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer (Azure, M365 & Windows Server) to join our client's Infrastructure team, supporting both core operations and cloud environments. You will work across Windows Server estates, Azure IaaS, Entra ID, hybrid Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and general infrastructure services. This role combines BAU support, project delivery, automation, and disciplined service management within a hybrid cloud environment.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Entra ID and hybrid Active Directory administration
• Microsoft 365 administration, including Exchange
• DNS and general infrastructure services
• Experience with ITSM processes (incident, request, change, CAB) and Azure DevOps boards
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
• VMware experience
• Terraform and Azure DevOps pipelines
• Dynamics infrastructure support
• Exposure to GCP
• Certifications such as AZ‑104, MS‑102, AZ‑400

Key Responsibilities
