Timestamp Group in Lisbon is seeking a Cloud FinOps Specialist to optimize cloud costs across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. You will translate business requirements into technical cost solutions and collaborate with finance, product, and engineering teams to drive efficiency without compromising performance.

You will monitor spending, implement FinOps tools like IBM Cloudability, and support budgeting and forecasting processes while promoting cost-conscious engineering practices.

Qualifications

• Expertise in FinOps, cloud cost management, or cloud financial analysis.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and billing structures.
• Strong data analysis skills using Excel and Power BI.

Responsabilités

• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of cloud-based solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements, technical standards, and FinOps best practices.
• Analyze cloud architectures, resource utilization, and consumption patterns to identify technical improvements and cost optimization opportunities.
• Provide technical recommendations on cloud resource sizing, service configuration, architecture optimization, and efficient resource utilization.
• Collaborate with cloud engineering, architecture, product management, and finance teams to assess and implement technical solutions that improve cloud cost efficiency without compromising performance, reliability, security, or service quality.
• Support the implementation and improvement of cloud cost monitoring, reporting, and automation solutions.
• Contribute to the implementation and use of FinOps tools, particularly IBM Cloudability, to improve cost visibility, allocation, and optimization.
• Support budget and forecast processes and monitor cloud cost optimization targets.
• Translate business and financial requirements into technical solutions, presenting recommendations and optimization plans to relevant stakeholders.
• Follow up on the implementation of recommended actions, evaluating their impact on cloud costs, resource efficiency, and service performance.
• Promote FinOps principles and cost-conscious engineering practices across product and technical teams.

Main Skills:

• Expertise in FinOps, cloud cost management, or cloud financial analysis.
• Expertise in Cloud operations and/or financial management, expertise with cloud-based architectures, cloud provider tools, financial and systems for budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization
• Expertise of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their billing structures.
• Expertise in IT asset management or cost accounting
• Certification from Cloud providers such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure and/or FinOps Foundation
• Conduct and present analysis of complex data and translating the results into actionable deliverables, messages, and presentations.
• Expertise in financial and analytical expertise
• Expertise of Microsoft Office Suite & Power BI required (extensive expertise of Excel required)
• Expertise with IBM Cloudability
• Expertise on computer science, Financials
