Job summary

Capgemini Engineering is seeking a backend engineer to design, develop, and maintain REST APIs using Python and Flask. You will build scalable services with Redis caching, containerize with Docker and Kubernetes, and operate in Azure cloud environments.

You’ll also work with Databricks and Spark for large‑scale data processing within an Agile team, participating in code reviews, testing, and production support.

Qualifications

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and REST APIs using Python and Flask API.
• Build scalable backend apps with Redis caching.
• Develop and manage containerized apps with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Work with Databricks and Apache Spark for data processing.
• Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, testing, and production support.

Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end application development, deployment, enhancement, and support activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams following Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Deploy and manage applications in Azure cloud/container environments.
• Ensure scalability, reliability, security, and performance optimization.
