Job summary

Ivy Partners is seeking a Cloud Automation Engineer to design and deliver secure, scalable cloud automation across Azure environments. You will build IaC modules, CI/CD pipelines, and automation that simplifies provisioning, configuration, and operation of cloud resources for diverse application teams.

You will work across backend and frontend layers using JavaScript frameworks, implement strong security and governance, and ensure observability, reliability, and performance of data processing

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in cloud automation or software engineering, preferably in international settings.
• Proficient in Microsoft Azure and cloud architecture; strong Terraform / IaC experience.
• Experience with full-stack development across backend services and modern JS frameworks.
• Strong skills in cloud security, identity and governance, API integration, and automated testing.
• Experience with Azure data/analytics services (Databricks, Data Factory, Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL).
• Proficient in scripting, automation, observability, and containers with Kubernetes (AKS).
• Fluent in English; French is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve secure, reusable cloud automation products for provisioning, configuration, and operation of cloud resources.
• Work across full-stack development, backend services, REST APIs, and frontend apps using JS frameworks.
• Create IaC modules, templates, and workflows for Azure resource lifecycle management.
• Design automated CI/CD workflows to build, validate, package, and deploy infrastructure and app changes.
• Integrate security and governance into delivery patterns with identity management and policy enforcement.
• Provide operational support for data processing and analytics automations; improve reliability, performance, security.
• Ensure operational readiness through monitoring, logging, alerting, documentation, and handover materials.

As an Cloud Automation Engineer at Ivy Partners, you will:

• Develop and continuously improve secure, reusable cloud automation products that simplify the provisioning, configuration, and operation of cloud resources for application teams.
• Work across full-stack development, including backend services and REST APIs, and frontend applications using JavaScript or TypeScript with frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
• Create Infrastructure as Code modules, templates, and workflows for the lifecycle management of Azure resources and shared cloud services.
• Design automated CI/CD workflows to build, validate, package, and deploy infrastructure and application changes across environments.
• Integrate security and governance practices into delivery patterns, ensuring compliance with identity management, policy enforcement, and audit standards.
• Provide operational support for data processing and analytics services automations, evolving them to improve reliability, performance, and security.
• Ensure operational readiness through monitoring, logging, alerting, documentation, and support or handover materials.

About You

You are our ideal candidate if you:

• Have at least 5 years of experience in cloud automation or software engineering roles, ideally within international company environments.
• Have working proficiency in Microsoft Azure and cloud architecture, along with solid experience in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Have advanced experience in full-stack development, from backend services to frontend applications using modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Have strong skills in cloud security, identity and governance, API integration, and automated testing.
• Have experience with Azure data and analytics services such as Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Cosmos DB, and PostgreSQL.
• Are experienced in scripting, operational automation, observability, and containers and Kubernetes (AKS).
• Are fluent in English. French is considered a plus.
