Job summary

Ivy Partners is seeking a Cloud Automation Engineer to design and deliver secure, scalable cloud automation across Azure environments. You will build IaC modules, CI/CD pipelines, and automation that simplifies provisioning, configuration, and operation of cloud resources for diverse application teams.

You will work across backend and frontend layers using JavaScript frameworks, implement strong security and governance, and ensure observability, reliability, and performance of data processing

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in cloud automation or software engineering, preferably in international settings.
• Proficient in Microsoft Azure and cloud architecture; strong Terraform / IaC experience.
• Experience with full-stack development across backend services and modern JS frameworks.
• Strong skills in cloud security, identity and governance, API integration, and automated testing.
• Experience with Azure data/analytics services (Databricks, Data Factory, Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL).
• Proficient in scripting, automation, observability, and containers with Kubernetes (AKS).
• Fluent in English; French is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve secure, reusable cloud automation products for provisioning, configuration, and operation of cloud resources.
• Work across full-stack development, backend services, REST APIs, and frontend apps using JS frameworks.
• Create IaC modules, templates, and workflows for Azure resource lifecycle management.
• Design automated CI/CD workflows to build, validate, package, and deploy infrastructure and app changes.
• Integrate security and governance into delivery patterns with identity management and policy enforcement.
• Provide operational support for data processing and analytics automations; improve reliability, performance, security.
• Ensure operational readiness through monitoring, logging, alerting, documentation, and handover materials.
