Capgemini Engineering is seeking an experienced AI Engineer to join our AI Engineering team in Portugal. The role focuses on designing, developing, and deploying AI-powered data solutions in cloud environments, with emphasis on large-scale data processing, analytics, and production-grade ML systems.

candidatos with Data Science, ML Engineering, or Data Engineering backgrounds will thrive, especially those familiar with Python, SQL, GCP, and CI/CD practices.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Experience in Data Science / Machine Learning Engineering / Data Engineering / Big Data Engineering.
• Strong Python and SQL skills; experience building data pipelines and processing workflows.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data and AI solutions.
• Build and optimize data pipelines supporting analytics and ML use cases.
• Develop, train, deploy, and monitor ML models in production.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, architects, and stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Implement cloud-native AI and data architectures on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Ensure data quality, governance, security, and performance across data platforms.
• Automate data processing, model deployment, and monitoring via CI/CD and MLOps.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of AI, analytics, and data engineering practices.
