Capgemini Engineering is seeking an experienced AI Engineer to join our AI Engineering team. This role is ideal for professionals with a background in Data Science, Machine Learning Engineering or Data Engineering, who are passionate about building and scaling AI-driven solutions in cloud environments.

You will design, develop, and deploy advanced data and AI solutions, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to transform business requirements into scalable and production-ready systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
• Professional experience in Data Science / Machine Learning / Data Engineering / Big Data Engineering.
• Solid experience with SQL and data modelling concepts.
• Experience building data pipelines and data processing workflows.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Understanding of ML fundamentals and AI solution lifecycle.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data and AI solutions.
• Build and optimize data pipelines supporting analytics and ML use cases.
• Develop, train, deploy, and monitor ML models in production.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, architects, and stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Implement cloud-native AI and data architectures, preferably on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Ensure data quality, governance, security, and performance across data platforms.
• Automate data processing, model deployment, and monitoring through CI/CD and MLOps practices.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of AI, analytics, and data engineering practices.
