Job summary

Capgemini Portugal is launching a new Tech Hub in Porto, offering an opportunity to contribute to deploying ML solutions in production and shaping scalable AI platforms.

The Senior Machine Learning Engineer will own end-to-end deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management of ML models, build feature pipelines, and collaborate with Data Science and Product teams in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering, ML Engineering or MLOps.
• Production-ready ML platforms and services.
• Proficient in Python, testing, packaging, API design and code review.
• Governance, monitoring, retraining and incident management of ML systems.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end deployment, operation and lifecycle management of ML/AI in production.
• Design and maintain CI/CD, continuous training, model serving, monitoring and rollback processes.
• Transform data science prototypes into scalable, production-grade services and APIs.
• Collaborate with Data Science, Data Engineering and Product teams to deliver reliable ML solutions.
