The Social Hub in Porto is seeking a Chef de Partie to lead a busy kitchen section, prep, cook and plate dishes to high standards. You’ll work closely with a tight-knit team, manage mise-en-place and maintain cleanliness from prep to service.

You’ll bring experience running a section during peak service, a love of seasonal cooking, and a practical approach to HACCP and kitchen digital tools. Portuguese and English skills are a plus in our diverse, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Chef de Partie or ready to step up.
• Confident in running a section during busy services.
• Love for fresh seasonal cooking and delivering quality at pace.
• Basic digital literacy for kitchen tools and logs.

Responsabilités

• Run your own kitchen section during prep and service.
• Cook and plate dishes to our standards in taste, temperature, and presentation.
• Prep daily mise-en-place and keep your station spotless and organized.
• Support and guide Commis Chefs and Kitchen Porters during service.
• Communicate with the team to keep service smooth and steady.
• Manage stock in your section, rotate products and cut down waste.
• Follow food safety routines and complete hygiene checks.
• Bring your A-game for special events, menus and seasonal updates.
