Job summary

Syensqo SA in Lisbon is offering a Cash Collections Trainee internship. You will support daily cash collection activities in the EMEA region, assist in reporting and data analysis, and coordinate with internal teams to resolve payment issues.

Qualifications

• Student or recent graduate in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
• Proactive, organized, and team-oriented mindset.
• Good command of English.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring daily cash collection activities in the EMEA region.
• Prepare overdue reports and cash collection forecasts; analyze receivables aging balances.
• Support communication with internal teams (Credit Management, Sales, Customer Service, AR).
• Contribute ideas to improve collection processes and efficiency.
• Participate in team meetings and knowledge-sharing activities.
