Job summary

Syensqo is offering a Cash Collections Trainee internship in Lisbon for students or recent graduates in Finance, Accounting, or related fields. You will develop financial, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills in an international setting.

The role focuses on daily cash collection, reporting, and process improvement across the EMEA region, with exposure to collaboration across Credit Management, Sales, and Accounts Receivable. English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Student or recent graduate in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
• Proactive, organized, and team-oriented mindset.
• Good command of English.

Responsibilities

• Support Daily Cash Collection Activities in EMEA region.
• Assist in monitoring customer accounts and overdue invoices.
• Support payment follow-ups and pre-collection activities.
• Help maintain accurate customer account information and records.
• Support the identification of payment delays and potential overdue risks.
