Europcar is hiring an SSC AR Cash Application Clerk L1 in Lisbon to support day-to-day accounts receivable cash application activities. You will post remittances, allocate receipts, investigate discrepancies, and maintain accurate AR records within our finance shared service center.

The role requires attention to detail, basic accounting knowledge, and ability to use Oracle Financials and MS tools. English fluency and local language are essential for effective collaboration.

Qualificações

• Degree in Finance, Commerce or Business Administration or currently pursuing

Responsabilidades

• Receive and post customer remittances to customer accounts in a timely and accurate manner
• Process customer payments and ensure proper allocation of receipts against open invoices
• Support the investigation of basic overpayments, underpayments, and payment discrepancies
• Assist in resolving unapplied and unidentified cash receipts
• Maintain accurate customer account records within company systems
• Support the administration of direct debit operations and related activities
• Record unpaid direct debits and assist with reconciliation activities
• Liaise with Collections and Customer Service teams regarding payment-related inquiries
• Support month-end activities and reconciliation processes
• Follow established procedures and internal controls to ensure compliance
• Maintain accurate documentation of cash application activities
• Escalate complex issues and discrepancies to senior team members
• Contribute to maintaining a clean and accurate Accounts Receivable ledger
