Job summary

KCS IT in Lisbon is seeking a middle/senior Business Intelligence Developer to design and optimise data models and reports. You will work across data sources, build Star Schema data models, and implement efficient SQL queries while collaborating with stakeholders.

The role requires hands-on Power BI development, DAX, and Tabular Models, with fundamental C# knowledge for business logic. Fluency in Portuguese and English is required, and the team operates in a hybrid setting across client projects

• Experience with data modelling using Star Schema.
• Experience in Data Warehouse environments, preferably with Dedicated SQL Pools.

We are looking for an Amazing: Business intelligence developer

Seniority: Middle/senior

Type of position: Hybrid 1xw

The amazing you, will have:

• Strong SQL skills, including troubleshooting complex queries, understanding SQL engine behaviour, and query performance optimisation.
• Experience in data modelling, particularly Star Schema, with the ability to identify when more advanced modelling approaches are required.
• Experience working with Data Warehouse environments, preferably with Dedicated SQL Pools.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI, DAX, and Tabular Models.
• Knowledge of SSDT (SQL Server Data Tools).
• Experience using Git for version control.
• Basic knowledge of C#, as part of the business logic is developed in this language.
• Fluent in both Portuguese and English.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Microsoft data and analytics technologies.
• Knowledge of data warehouse architecture, ETL/ELT processes, and data optimisation best practices
