Job summary

KCS IT in Lisbon is seeking a Senior BI professional to join our growing data team. You will design and deliver BI reports, dashboards and data models, translating complex business requirements into practical data solutions across hybrid client projects.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in BI or data engineering, strong SQL, experience with GCP, Snowflake and Apache Spark, and the ability to work with both technical teams and business stakeholders in Portuguese and English.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in BI, data engineering or related fields.
• Strong SQL with complex queries and transformations.
• Experience building BI reports, dashboards and data models.
• Knowledge of data warehousing and dimensional modelling.
• Experience with GCP and Snowflake.
• Ability to translate business requirements into data solutions.
• Excellent Portuguese and English communication.

We are looking for an Amazing: Business Intelligence Seniority: Senior-level (5+ years)

Type of position: Hybrid model in Lisbon. Candidates need to be already living in Portugal!

The amazing you, will have:

• Professional experience in Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, or a combination of these areas;
• Strong experiencewith SQL, including complex queries, joins, aggregations and data transformation;
• Experience developing BI reports, dashboards and data models;
• Understanding of data warehousing and dimensional modelling concepts;
• Experience gathering and translating business requirements into data or BI solutions;
• Experience working with GCP;
• Experience with Snowflake;
• Experience with Apache Spark;
• Good understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines;
• Experience working with large datasets;
• Good understanding of data quality and data governance principles;
• Comfortableworking with both technical teams and business stakeholders;
• Fluent in Portuguese and English, both written and spoken;
• Strong analyticaland problem-solving skills;
• Good communication and teamwork skills;
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
