Job summary

KCS IT, a Lisbon-based IT consulting company, seeks a Senior Data Analyst for a hybrid Porto position. The ideal candidate has 4+ years in data analytics, strong SQL, and expertise in Power BI/Tableau/Looker to turn data into business insights for diverse projects.

You will work across clients in Benelux and beyond, using cloud platforms (BigQuery/Snowflake/Databricks) and advanced Excel. English proficiency is required for collaboration with internal teams.

Qualifications

• At least 4+ years of experience as a Data Analyst.
• Strong SQL skills with complex queries, joins, aggregations.
• Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
• Solid knowledge of advanced Excel (formulas, pivot tables, charts).
• Ability to turn data into actionable business insights.
• Skilled in data cleaning, modeling, and analysis.
• Basic experience with Python or R for data analysis.
• Understanding of business KPIs, metrics, and dashboard/report creation.
• Fluent English (spoken and written) – for communication with internal teams.
• Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., Google BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks).
• Familiarity with descriptive statistics or basic machine learning concepts.
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT tools (e.g., Alteryx, Airflow, dbt).
• Experience working in agile environments (Scrum/Kanban).
