Job summary

act digital EMEA - Alter Solutions is seeking a Business Analyst with a strong QA background to support financial applications and APIs across Portugal and France.

You will collect and validate requirements, craft functional specs and test cases, and lead UAT efforts while coordinating with international stakeholders and QA teams. Strong SQL, UML, and Jira/Confluence experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of BA experience with a strong QA/testing background.
• Experience in requirements gathering, functional analysis, and test case design.
• Solid knowledge of SQL and UML.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence and Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Knowledge of Xray and test documentation.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
• Previous experience in the banking or financial sector.
• Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaborate with international teams.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, document, and validate business requirements with stakeholders.
• Create functional specifications, use cases, and process documentation.
• Design and execute test cases, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Identify, report, and track defects until resolution.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure software quality.
• Maintain functional and testing documentation.
• Support application improvements and maintenance activities.
