PrimeIT is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst for Credit Risk to join our Lisbon/Porto projects.

You will translate business requirements into functional and technical solutions, query data with SQL and Python, and collaborate with stakeholders in an Agile environment.

Experience in IFRS 9, Basel, stress testing and banking is a plus; English proficiency required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics/CS/IT or related field.
• Experience as Business Analyst or Functional Expert in Credit Risk, IFRS 9, Basel regulations, or Stress Testing.
• Strong SQL and Python skills.
• English C1+ mandatory; French a plus.

We are looking for a Business Analyst - Credit Risk:

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional and technical solutions.
• Develop, query, and validate data using SQL and Python.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and development teams in an Agile environment.
• Support the production and validation of regulatory stress test results.
• Contribute to the optimization, performance, and scalability of risk calculation engines.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and ensure solution quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Mandatory experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Expert in Credit Risk, IFRS 9, Basel regulations, or Stress Testing.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python
• Knowledge of PySpark is a plus; Dataiku and Agile experience are advantageous.
• Previous banking experience is a plus.
• English C1 or above is mandatory; French is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

Salary Package & Benefits: €1,200 to €2,000 (salary base) + Food Allowance
