Job summary

JoomFunding seeks an experienced product leader to own Joom Financing, a post-payment credit line for B2B wholesale purchases. You’ll drive strategy and metrics, build AI-based scoring, and partner with ML engineers and legal teams to scale the product.

Relocation to Lisbon or LatAm is supported; office-first with flexible remote options. You’ll oversee client scoring, documentation, and unit economics, while collaborating with developers, designers, lawyers, and external partners across

Qualifications

• Background in fintech and/or e-commerce, with understanding of business financing.
• Product background: experience building a product and working hands-on with developers and ML engineers.
• Strong analytical mindset: able to work with large datasets and scoring models using AI.
• Experience of owning a product as a business: P&L, legal setup, go-to-market.

Responsibilities

• Own the P&L of Joom Financing and drive the product strategy.
• Develop the credit line product end to end: scoring, documents, legal, landing pages.
• Build AI-based scoring models evaluating client and goods.
• Analyze model performance and optimize credit scoring with ML support.
• Deliver on key metrics including default rate.
• Collaborate with developers, ML engineers, lawyers, growth, and external consultants.
• Incorporate fulfillment as collateral within financing.
• Support structuring for external capital in China and Brazil.
