Adecco Permanent Recruitment in Lisbon is seeking a BI Engineer to design and maintain KPI dashboards, analyze data, and support decision-making across multiple business areas in an international environment.

The role focuses on Power BI, Power Query, data modelling, and collaboration with stakeholders to deliver accurate reporting; you will work in a hybrid setup, bridging IT, Finance, Operations, and Sales to enable data-driven decisions.

We're looking for a BI Engineer to join a dynamic team within the Business Performance & Excellence function. You will play a key role in designing and maintaining dashboards, analysing data, and supporting decision-making across multiple business areas.

Lisbon – Hybrid (3 days/week at the office)

Direct contract with an international client

Strategic role in a global IT transformation context

Your Mission:

• Design, implement, and maintain KPI dashboards using Microsoft tools (Power BI, Power Automate)
• Collect, analyse, and interpret business data to support decision-making
• Ensure accuracy, quality, and consistency of dashboards and reporting
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to meet business needs
• Identify new ways to leverage data and improve reporting capabilities
• Monitor performance indicators and provide clear, actionable insights

What we're looking for:

• Proven experience as a BI Engineer or in a similar data-driven role
• Strong skills in Power BI, Power Query, and data modelling
• Experience in data analysis, dashboard creation, and reporting
• Knowledge of tools such as Python, VBA, AWS, or Knime is a plus
• Solid project management and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work with large datasets and summarise findings clearly
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to prioritise effectively
