Match Profiler, an Information Systems consultancy, is expanding its team with a Data Engineer PBI in a hybrid Porto setting. The role focuses on BI, analytics, and data workflows, leveraging Power BI and Dataiku to prepare data for analytics and ML use cases.

You will work with English communication, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to storytelling with data while advancing data governance and cloud data platform exposure.

Qualificações

• 3–6 years of experience in BI, Analytics, or Data-related roles.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI (modeling, DAX, visualization).
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

What we are looking for

Hard skills

• 3–6 years of experience in BI, Analytics, or Data-related roles.
• Hands‑on experience with Power BI (data modeling, DAX, and visualization best practices).
• Hands‑on experience with Dataiku for data preparation and analytics workflows.
• Solid understanding of data visualization principles and storytelling with data.
• Experience preparing datasets for analytics and machine learning use cases.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of data science concepts (e.g. statistics, ML fundamentals).
• Familiarity with Python and/or SQL.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Nice to Have

• Experience building or supporting machine learning models in Dataiku.
• Exposure to Generative AI or LLM-based use cases (e.g. embeddings, prompt engineering).
• Experience with cloud data platforms.
• Understanding of data governance and model lifecycle management.
