A leading consulting firm in Lisbon is looking for a Power BI Senior Consultant to lead the design and development of Power BI dashboards and reports. This role involves transforming data into clear insights, collaborating with teams, and ensuring data quality. Candidates should have over 5 years of experience in the Power BI ecosystem and strong leadership skills. ABOUT YOU

Are you a Power BI Senior Consultant who enjoys transforming complex data into clear, scalable insights? Do you take ownership of technical decisions, elevate standards, and guide others with confidence? WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Design, develop, and lead Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Connect, clean, and transform data from multiple sources using Power Query, ensuring best practices.
• Build scalable and well structured data models (star schema, fact/dimension tables).
• Write and optimize DAX measures to create KPIs and apply business logic.
• Ensure high standards of data quality, consistency, and accuracy across all reports.
• Implement and govern Row Level Security (RLS) to support data governance policies.
• Collaborate with technical, business and cross‑functional teams to define requirements, solutions and standards that support scalable, high‑quality delivery.
• Willingness to lead a small team assuming all responsibilities regarding teams’ performance.
• Support initiatives that promote the area and encourage knowledge‑sharing.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• 5+ years of experience with the Power BI ecosystem, including Analytical Data Modeling, DAX, and ETL.
• Ability to lead the design and development of Microsoft Power BI reports and dashboards, including data ingestion, transformation, modeling, and DAX.
• Experience collaborating with cross functional teams to drive and document business requirements effectively.
• Strong focus on defining and maintaining data validation and data quality standards.
• Strong analytical mindset with advanced critical thinking skills.
• Demonstrates leadership skills, fostering teamwork and supporting team development.
• English proficiency for effective collaboration in a global environment.
• And above all: you know how to listen, think, ask, propose, and collaborate while promoting innovation and building strong relationships.
