Aubay Portugal is seeking a senior BI/Data Science lead in Porto to guide a 13-person team. You will drive best practices, mentor colleagues, and deliver PowerBI-driven analytics powered by AI to unlock real business value for clients.

This hybrid Porto role focuses on collaboration, integrity and client-facing impact, shaping data platforms and analytics capabilities across sectors for large organisations.

Qualificações

• 9+ years of BI and Data Science experience focusing on PowerBI.
• Proven technical leadership with mentoring responsibilities.
• Strong PowerBI and Data Science methodologies, including AI solutions.
• English proficiency at B2 level for international work.
• Aligned with integrity, ethics, and customer-focused mindset.

What will you do?

• Technically lead a team of 13 professionals, implementing best practices and fostering continuous improvement.
• Drive the integration and usage of Artificial Intelligence within the team's projects and solutions.
• Utilise your expertise in PowerBI and Data Science to deliver impactful business intelligence solutions.
• Contribute to the strategic evolution of data platforms and analytical capabilities for key clients.

What are we looking for?

• Proven experience of at least 9 years in Business Intelligence and Data Science, with a focus on PowerBI.
• Demonstrated technical leadership experience, capable of guiding and mentoring a team.
• Solid expertise in PowerBI and Data Science methodologies, including the ability to introduce AI solutions.
• Proficiency in English (B2 level) to communicate effectively in an international environment.
