Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience, including Java (5y) and Kotlin (3y).
• Senior backend developer with payments and 3rd party API integration experience.
• Proficiency with Kotlin, DocumentDB, AWS MQ with Rabbit, and Kubernetes (IC3).
• DevOps experience with Kubernetes and Datadog monitoring.

What will you do?

• Develop and maintain robust backend services using Kotlin, focusing on high performance and scalability.
• Design and implement integrations with various 3rd party APIs, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality.
• Contribute to the architecture and evolution of payment systems.
• Apply extensive DevOps practices, including deployment on Kubernetes and setting up monitoring solutions like Datadog.

What are we looking for?

At Aubay, our focus is on professionals who bring both technical expertise and the right mindset:

• Proven professional experience of at least 5 years in software development, including a minimum of 5 years with Java and 3 years with Kotlin.
• Solid experience as a Senior professional in backend development, specifically within payments and 3rd party API integration.
• Proficiency with relevant technologies such as Kotlin, DocumentDB, AWS MQ with Rabbit, and Kubernetes at an IC3 level.
• Extensive experience with DevOps practices, including Kubernetes (k8s) and monitoring tools like Datadog.
• Fluent English (B2 level or higher) is required, along with legal permission to work remotely from Portugal.
