Job summary

Capgemini Engineering seeks a DevOps/Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and GitLab CI/CD. You will manage Azure infrastructure (AKS, storage, networking) and define infrastructure with Terraform, while applying GitOps practices with Argo CD or Flux CD.

You will collaborate with backend and mobile teams, enhance observability, and enforce security with Vault. A proactive, AI-minded approach to platform engineering is valued.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Proven GitOps expertise with Argo CD or Flux CD.
• Strong Docker and Kubernetes skills for container orchestration.
• Experience on Microsoft Azure, AKS, storage and networking.
• Familiarity with Terraform and IaC practices.
• Monitoring, logging, observability, and incident management.
• Experience with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of Helm and Vault for secrets management.
• Understanding of distributed systems and APIs.
• Interest in applying AI to DevOps and platform engineering.

YOUR ROLE

• Design, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Git-based ecosystems and automation tools such as GitHub Actions and GitLab.
• Implement and manage GitOps practices using tools such as Argo CD or Flux CD, including Helm-based deployments.
• Manage and optimize Microsoft Azure infrastructure, including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), storage, and networking components.
• Define, provision, and maintain infrastructure using Terraform and other infrastructure automation tools.
• Manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring platform scalability, availability, and resilience.
• Implement and improve monitoring, alerting, and logging capabilities to enhance system observability and operational performance.
• Integrate security best practices into development and deployment workflows, including secrets management solutions such as HashiCorp Vault.
• Manage and optimize artifact repositories and package management solutions, such as JFrog Artifactory and NuGet.
• Contribute to performance, load, and stress testing to ensure system reliability and scalability.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues, support incident resolution, and help maintain production stability.
• Work closely with backend and mobile engineering teams to streamline software delivery and improve development workflows.
• Identify and implement opportunities to leverage AI in CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure management, troubleshooting, and platform automation.

YOUR PROFILE

• Professional experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or a related role.
• Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitOps practices, and deployment automation.
• Proven expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure, including AKS, storage, and networking.
• Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), particularly Terraform.
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, alerting, observability, and incident management practices.
• Experience with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or similar automation tools.
• Knowledge of Helm and GitOps tools such as Argo CD or Flux CD.
• Experience with secrets management solutions, such as HashiCorp Vault, and artifact repositories such as Artifactory or NuGet.
• Understanding of distributed systems, APIs, and backend architectures.
• Experience with integration testing and performance, load, or stress testing strategies.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• A proactive mindset and demonstrated interest in integrating AI into DevOps processes and platform engineering practices.
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within multicultural teams.
• English proficiency at B2 level or above.
