Capgemini Engineering is seeking a data engineer with 4 years of experience to design and maintain data pipelines, warehouse schemas, and analytics-ready data structures. The role emphasizes Python, SQL/NoSQL, and cloud platform exposure (AWS/GCP/Azure) with DevOps discipline for CI/CD.

You will collaborate across teams to ensure data quality, governance, and scalable distributed data systems while supporting national and international projects in a hybrid environment.

Formación

• 4 years of experience in data engineering roles (as described in the ad).
• Proficient in data warehouse design, ETL/ELT, schema modeling and analytical data retrieval.
• Degree in computer science, software engineering, or engineering domains.
• Proficient in Python and another data engineering language (SQL/Java/NoSQL).
• Hands-on cloud experience with AWS/GCP/Azure or Linux, and DevOps/CI/CD familiarity.
• Strong data modeling skills (SQL/NoSQL) and distributed systems knowledge.
• Experience with big data tech like Spark and workflow tools like Airflow.
• Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Fluency in English; other languages are a plus.

Your Profile

• 4 years of experience in data engineering roles with expertise in building and maintaining data pipelines, systems, and applications.

Proficient in data warehouse design, implementation, and optimization, leveraging ETL/ELT processes, schema modeling, and ensuring efficient data retrieval for analytical purposes

Degree in computer science, software engineering, or in engineering domains.

Proficient in Python and one additional programming/querying language used for data engineering Java, SQL, NoSQLs or similar.

Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP or AzureKnowledge and Hands-on experience either with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), or in Linux OS.

Experience with Devops and CI/CD.

Strong understanding of data modeling, both SQL and NoSQL, with expertise in distributed systems design.

Experience with big data technologies such as, Spark or other distributed processing technologies and familiarity with tools like Airflow for workflow orchestration.Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and best practices in ensuring data quality and compliance.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.

Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills to address complex data challenges.

Familiarity with Standard AI/ML processes & Operations is greatly valued.

Fluency in English is mandatory, and proficiency in additional languages advantageous.
