Job summary

SWJ Portugal Engineering Solutions in Lisbon seeks an Automotive SPICE consultant to help implement and mature SPICE activities across projects. You will collaborate with engineering teams and clients to review processes, identify gaps, and drive improvements in requirements, design and verification.

In this role, you will coordinate assessments, advocate best practices, and shape how the SPICE program grows within our Lisbon office.

Qualifications

Experience with Automotive SPICE in automotive development projects.
Experience with process reviews, assessment preparation or process improvement.
Understanding of embedded software development and the links between requirements, design and verification.
Ability to work independently and explain findings clearly.
Good written and spoken English; Portuguese or German is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop a practical Automotive SPICE approach for our projects in Lisbon.
Review development processes and identify gaps against Automotive SPICE requirements.
Conduct internal process reviews and help teams prepare for assessments.
Work with engineers and project leads to improve requirements engineering, design, verification and supporting processes.
Turn findings into clear action plans and follow up on progress.
Coordinate with qualified assessors for formal assessments when needed.
