Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking an on-site Field Service Engineer to install, commission, modify and maintain speed drives, PLC, HMI and SCADA systems for industrial automation. The role involves on-site testing, wiring upgrades and safety validations at customer sites.

You will configure EcoStruxure components, support Edge and Advisor platforms, supervise subcontractors, and provide timely reports; travel to diverse sites including high-security locations as required.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent experience in electrical/automation.
• Full driving license and passport required.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of electrical safety on live networks.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, maintain and repair Speed Drives and PLC on site.
• Test, validate electrical and mechanical equipment on site.
• Configure EcoStruxure components and related hardware.
• Produce site reports and test results.
• Assist in offers, quotations and customer training.
• Travel to customer sites, including high-security locations as required.
