Job summary

Marel is seeking a Field Service Engineer Automation to install and maintain our machines at customer sites. You will travel globally ~50-60%, execute installations, and drive customer satisfaction through proactive service and reporting.

You will work with experienced colleagues, receive trainings, and participate in project preparations and reviews to continuously develop specialist skills in our advanced equipment.

Qualifications

• You have a Bachelor degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or automation engineering, or a vocational level degree in the same area with several years of relevant experience.
• Experience with electrical cabinet (re)build, software installation/configuration, and/or troubleshooting PLCs is preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Server and SQL databases is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute the controls (electrical cabinets/software/PLC) part of installation-jobs.
• Conduct service visits.
• Troubleshoot production issues at customers’ sites.
• Manage local employees in larger installation projects.
• Keep in touch with, and report to the customer about your progress.
• Train the customer and feedback results to your colleagues.
