Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a Principal Automation & Digital Transformation Lead to drive end-to-end automation initiatives within the Gas Services Central division. You will align business, IT, data, and automation teams to deliver value, manage timelines and budgets, and report outcomes to executives.

The role emphasizes scoping, use-case definition, stakeholder engagement, and ensuring user adoption with strong governance and data readiness. Remote work within Portugal is possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Admin or related field.
• Proven professional experience in project management, digital transformation, automation, or process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of automation and digital transformation projects, from scoping through implementation, adoption, and value tracking.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across business, IT, data, and automation, managing timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies, and reporting.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to translate business challenges into actionable automation and digital use cases with clear success criteria.
• Drive change management and user adoption while ensuring alignment with data readiness and governance.
