Job summary

Siemens Financial Services (SFS) in Lisbon, Portugal, seeks an Associate Senior Data & BI Specialist to join the Data & Business Intelligence team. You will design, develop, and maintain reporting and analytics solutions supporting portfolio, financial, and risk management, collaborating with stakeholders to translate needs into scalable data solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of work experience in data and BI or a tech-focused business role.
• Proven experience delivering data-driven reporting and analytics projects.
• Strong understanding of financial services, portfolio management, and risk concepts.
• Advanced hands-on experience with Power BI, SQL, dbt, and Snowflake, including data modelling and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain reporting and analytics solutions for portfolio, financial, and risk management.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate needs into scalable data and reporting solutions.
• Implement KPI frameworks and steering concepts to support performance management.
• Analyze portfolio performance, trends, and risk indicators to generate insights.
• Develop, optimize, and maintain data models, transformations, and data marts on a cloud platform.
• Build and enhance interactive dashboards and visualizations using Power BI.
• Use SQL, dbt, and Snowflake to create reliable, scalable analytics solutions.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across reporting products.
• Work with international teams and IT partners in an Agile environment.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and data-driven decision-making.
