Side is a global video game developer and services provider seeking an Arabic Localization QA Game Tester to join our Braga, Portugal team. You will review localized text, images, and UI to ensure accuracy and cultural consistency across languages.

No experience required; fluency in Arabic and conversational English, strong attention to detail, cultural understanding, and Excel skills are valued. This onsite role includes training and opportunities to work on top gaming titles.

Qualificações

• No experience required; fluency in Arabic and conversational English.
• Good cultural understanding of the language you are applying for.
• Computer literacy – particularly with Excel.
• Robust Internet research skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Previous experience with using different software, applications, and websites.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely and collaborate within project teams.
• Candidate must be located in Portugal (Preferably Braga).

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with a global project team.
• Identify and correct spelling, grammar, punctuation, and other language errors.
• Ensure adherence to console manufacturer guidelines.
• Log details of errors and issues, providing improvement suggestions.
• Ensure accurate translation within context and maintain consistency in terminology and imagery.
• Identify missing or incorrect content and ensure proper display/format of dates, calendars, and characters.
• Write reports on errors and bugs found and perform ad hoc translation.
• Oversee the quality of your work, collaborate with the team, and contribute to the overall success of projects.
• Our Localization QA team conducts language checks on upcoming games across a variety of platforms including PC, Xbox Series X/S, PS5, Nintendo Switch, PSVR2, and mobile devices.
• You will be working on top gaming titles for some of the world’s leading publishers.
