Job summary

AgileEngine, LLC is seeking a remote mobile test automation engineer. You will automate the current regression suite and then extend tests for iOS and Android to replace manual regression with reliable automation.

Requirements include 2+ years in mobile automation, Kotlin, and familiarity with Firebase Test Lab, UiAutomator and Robolectric. Working hours are 9 am–1 pm EST. We offer USD-based compensation, flextime, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of mobile test automation experience.
• Experience with Kotlin is preferred.
• Familiarity with Firebase Test Lab is a plus.
• Knowledge of UiAutomator and Robolectric for Android.

What you will do

Automate our existing regression testing suite that currently lives in Test Rails (~150 manual tests). Once that is complete, the next objective will be to expand the automated tests to improve coverage;

Build and maintain automated tests for current features across iOS and Android platforms, with a focus on ensuring they replace manual regression tests and cover critical functionalities;

Prioritize automated testing tasks, excluding responsibilities related to new feature development.

Must haves

2+ years of experience with mobile test automation, ideally using Kotlin ;

Working experience in Firebase & Test Lab (ideally);

Familiar with UiAutomator, Robolectric for Android;

Mandatory working hours 9 am – 1 pm EST.
